New Mexican Spanish

New Mexican Spanish is a type of Spanish language spoken in the US state of New Mexico. It is different than the Spanish spoken in other parts of the world because it has been influenced by the indigenous people of the area. This means it has some words and phrases that are not used elsewhere. For example, New Mexican Spanish uses the word 'squash' for cucumber which is not the same word used for cucumber in other Spanish-speaking countries.
