ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Newline

A newline is like a special type of space that we use when we write things down. When we talk or read, we stop at the end of each sentence and then start a new one. That's kind of like what happens with a newline. When we want to start a new paragraph or line of text, we use a newline to let the computer know where the new section begins. It's kind of like pressing the enter key on a typewriter or keyboard. So, a newline basically helps us organize our writing and make it easier to read.
