Newman Centers

Newman Centers are Catholic churches that are located on college campuses. They are named after Cardinal John Henry Newman, an English theologian who believed that university-based religious centers were important for students to stay connected to their faith. The Newman Centers are run by Catholic priests and often have activities for students like bible studies, retreats, and classes. Newman Centers provide a space for students to gather and practice their faith, build relationships with other students, and feel connected to their faith community.
