ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

News director

A news director is someone who helps run a news station, like on TV or the radio. They are like a very important coach for a team of reporters who all work together to find and tell stories about things that are happening in our world. The news director helps decide what stories are most important to tell and makes sure that the reporters have all the information they need to tell those stories. They also help make sure that the news station is working well and that everyone is doing their job correctly. Without a news director, the news station might not be able to tell us all the important things that are happening in our world.
