Newsies (musical)

Newsies is a show where a bunch of boys who sell newspapers on the streets of New York City get upset because their bosses raise the prices of the papers they have to buy. They decide to stand up for themselves and go on strike, which means they stop working and try to get the bosses to change their minds. Along the way they meet a girl who writes stories for the newspaper and she helps them get attention from people who can help them. They sing and dance a lot, and the show has lots of cool costumes and scenery. In the end, the boys are able to make a deal with their bosses and win the fight for fair prices.

Basically, it's a story about standing up for yourself and working together to make a change.
