ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Niche real estate

Okay, so let's imagine you have a big box of crayons. There are lots of different colors in there, right? But let's say you want to draw a picture of a flower garden. You're going to need some specific colors for that, like pink, yellow, and green.

Niche real estate is kind of like that. "Real estate" means houses or buildings that people live in or use for work. But "niche" means a small or specific area of focus.

So when we talk about niche real estate, we mean houses or buildings that are specialized for a certain group of people. For example, maybe there are some buildings that are only for people who are over 55 years old. Or maybe there are some houses that are designed for people who want to live off the grid and use solar power instead of electricity.

These types of homes might not be for everyone, but for the people they're made for, they're perfect! And because they're so specific, they're often in higher demand, which means they might cost more than a regular house.

Just like how you needed specific crayons for your flower garden picture, sometimes people need specific types of homes to fit their lifestyle or needs. That's why niche real estate is so important!
