Nip joint

Ok kiddo, so a nip joint is a kind of joint in your body where two bones are connected together. But it's not like a regular joint where one bone moves around inside a little bowl in the other bone. A nip joint is more like when you put two puzzle pieces together - they fit really tightly and don't move around much.

In fact, nip joints are so tight that they can't move at all! They're mostly found in your back, where the bones need to be really stable to support all your body weight. So even though your back has lots of different little bones, they're all connected with nip joints to make sure your spine stays strong and steady.
