No Platform

No platform is a way of responding to hate speech or harmful ideas that you don't want to spread. If a group or person is promoting or supporting something that you don't believe in, you don't want to give that idea a platform or stage for the idea to exist and be heard. Instead, the idea is ignored and not talked about and not given the opportunity to be shared. This way, the harmful idea doesn't have a way to spread and can't hurt people.
