ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

No-hair theorem

The no-hair theorem is an idea in physics that says if an object is big enough, like a black hole, it won't have much else but its mass and its spin. Black holes are objects so heavy that not even light can escape from them, so they are very mysterious. But the no-hair theorem says that they don't have to be complicated - they can just be really heavy.
