Noise weighting

Noise Weighting is like putting on headphones to listen to music in a noisy room. When you put on headphones, you can hear the music better because the noise around you is quieter. Similarly, in audio measurements, noise weighting reduces or boosts certain frequencies relative to others to make it easier to hear the sounds of interest.
