ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Nonduality (spirituality)

Alright, imagine you have a big pizza. Normally, when you look at a pizza, you see that it is divided into slices. Each slice looks different and has its own toppings, right? Well, nonduality is like saying that even though the pizza looks divided into slices, it is all still just one pizza.

In spirituality, nonduality means that everything in the world is connected and part of one big thing, kind of like how all the slices of the pizza are connected to make up the whole pizza. It's the idea that there isn't a separation between different things like you, me, animals, plants, and even the universe. We are all part of the same big thing, even though we may seem different on the outside.

So, instead of seeing ourselves as separate individuals, nonduality encourages us to see that we are all interconnected and part of something much greater than ourselves. It’s like realizing that we are all pieces of the same puzzle, even though we may look different from the outside.
