Nonverbal communication is when you communicate with someone without saying anything. This can be done in a number of ways. For example, you can use your face to show feelings such as smiling if you are happy, or frowning if you are sad. You can also show emotions with your body, like using your arms and hands to give someone a hug or waving hello. You can also use sounds to express yourself, like laughing if you are amused, or screaming if you are scared. Lastly, you can also communicate without words by what you wear and how you stand. For example, if you wear a lot of jewelry, it may show that you are stylish, or if someone stands with their arms crossed it might indicate that they are angry. All of these different means of communication help us send and receive messages to one another without saying a single word.
