North Macedonia

Hey kiddo, have you ever heard of a place called North Macedonia? It's a small country located in Europe, and it used to be a part of a bigger country called Yugoslavia.

Now, North Macedonia is its own independent country, with its own government, rules, and culture. Their national anthem is "Denes Nad Makedonija" which means "Today over Macedonia".

The people who live in North Macedonia are called Macedonians, and they speak a language called Macedonian. Their currency is called the Macedonian denar, and it's used to buy things like toys, food, and clothes.

North Macedonia has beautiful mountains, lakes, and forests, so it's a great place to visit if you like nature. They also have delicious traditional food, like kebabs and burek.

Recently, North Macedonia has been in the news because they changed their name from just "Macedonia" to "North Macedonia". This was a big deal because another nearby country called Greece also has a region called Macedonia. So, by changing their name, North Macedonia and Greece were able to peacefully resolve a long-standing conflict.

Overall, North Macedonia is a wonderful and unique country with its own history, culture, and traditions. Maybe one day you'll get to visit and see it for yourself!
