North Sea oil

North Sea oil is a type of oil that is found under the ocean in the North Sea, which is a body of water located between the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. This type of oil is a valuable resource for the countries around the North Sea as it can be used to produce energy such as electricity and heat. Oil is a valuable resource because it can be used to power cars, ships and airplanes, and is also used to make products such as fuel, chemicals, and plastics. To get the oil out of the ground, oil companies have to use special drilling machines called oil rigs that are placed deep in the ocean. The rigs work by drilling down into the ocean floor and sucking up the oil which is then transported by ships to the shore to be used or sold.
