ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Northeast Corridor

The Northeast Corridor is like a very long train track! It goes from Boston all the way down to Washington D.C. and stops in lots of big cities along the way, like New York and Philadelphia.

Lots of trains run on this track every day, and they all have special places to stop so people can get on and off the train.

The Northeast Corridor is important because lots of people live and work in the big cities along the track, so they need a way to travel between them quickly and easily. It's also important because it helps connect the Northeast part of the United States to other parts of the country, like the Midwest and the South.

So, imagine a really long train track that connects lots of big cities and helps people get where they need to go. That's the Northeast Corridor!
