Nuclear entombment is like putting a really dangerous monster, that we call nuclear waste, in a very big, strong box and burying it deep underground forever so that nobody can get hurt by it.
You see, when we use nuclear power to make electricity, the leftover stuff from that process is called nuclear waste. It is very dangerous because it can hurt living things if they get too close to it, just like a fire can burn you if you touch it. So, we need to make sure that nobody gets near it.
To do that, we put the nuclear waste into a container that is designed to be very strong and can hold the waste securely. This box is then placed into a really big hole in the ground that is dug really deep. The hole is then filled with many layers of different materials, like concrete, clay, and rock, to make sure that the nuclear waste stays securely inside the box and nobody can dig it up.
Finally, the place where the nuclear waste is entombed is marked with special signs and alerts to let people know that there is dangerous stuff hidden inside. This way, nobody will accidentally dig it up or build anything on top of it, and everyone can stay safe.
