Nuclear navy

Nuclear Navy is a type of navy that uses nuclear power to power ships and submarines. Nuclear power is energy that is created by splitting atoms apart (called "fission"). This creates a lot of heat energy that is used to turn water into steam which can be used to power ships and submarines. The ships and submarines in a Nuclear Navy can travel longer distances without needing to refuel, which makes them very useful for long missions. Nuclear Navy ships and submarines can also travel faster and carry more weapons.
