Nuclear power in China

Nuclear power in China is like using a super powerful battery to make electricity. China has found a way to make their own special batteries, called nuclear reactors, that can make lots and lots of electricity without using too much oil or gas.

The nuclear reactors work by splitting atoms, which creates a lot of heat. This heat then turns water into steam, which powers turbines that create electricity. It's kind of like blowing on a pinwheel to make it spin - the heat from the atoms makes the turbines spin and create electricity.

China has built many nuclear reactors all over the country to help power their homes and businesses. They even have plans to build more because it's cleaner and more efficient than using other types of fuel. However, they have to make sure the reactors are safe and not harmful to people or the environment. That's why they have lots of safety features and special people who watch over them all the time.
