Nurungji

Nurungji is a yummy snack that comes from Korea. When people in Korea make rice, sometimes they burn a little bit of it on the bottom of the pot. Instead of throwing away the burnt rice, they scoop it out and cook it a little bit more until it turns brown. This is nurungji!

It's kind of like a crunchy version of rice. You can eat it by itself as a snack, or you can mix it with other things like nuts or dried fruit to make a yummy treat. Some people even like to sprinkle sugar on top of their nurungji to make it extra sweet.

So, even though nurungji is made from burnt rice, it's actually really tasty!
