Obotrites

The Obotrites were a group of people who lived a very long time ago in what is now northern Germany. They were a tribe of people who spoke a language that is not spoken anymore.

These people lived in villages and often had their own leaders or chiefs. They had their own culture and traditions, and they would make their own clothes and weapons.

The Obotrites would often work together with other tribes to fight against invaders who tried to take over their land. They were very good warriors and fought fiercely to protect their homes and families.

Over time, the Obotrites started to interact with other groups of people and some even started to convert to Christianity. This led to changes in their way of life and eventually they merged with other tribes and disappeared as a distinct group of people.

Today, there are still some descendants of the Obotrites, but they are very different from their ancestors and do not speak the same language or practice the same customs.
