Obstetrical nursing

Obstetrical nursing is when a special kind of nurse takes care of pregnant women and their babies before, during, and after they are born. The nurse helps the mommy get ready for the baby and makes sure she is healthy. During birth, the nurse helps the mommy push the baby out safely and takes care of the baby right after it is born. After the baby is born, the nurse helps the mommy take care of the baby and checks to make sure the mommy and the baby are healthy. This special kind of nurse is very important for making sure babies are born healthy and happy!
