Oceanway

The ocean is a really, really big place where there is a lot of water! Imagine a huge swimming pool that is as big as the whole world, that's how big the ocean is! And sometimes people need to travel across the ocean to get to other countries or to bring things from one place to another.

So, just like we have roads and highways for cars to travel on land, there are 'oceanways' or routes that ships and boats use to travel on the ocean. These routes are marked out to make sure that the boats and ships are traveling safely and not hitting any underwater obstacles like rocks or reefs.

Sometimes, ships need to avoid storms or areas where there might be pirates or dangerous sea creatures, so the oceanways help them to stay on a safe path. There are also rules and regulations that everyone who travels on the ocean has to follow to keep everyone safe.
