Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) helps to make sure juvenile (kids under the age of 18) don’t break the law and get into trouble. OJJDP works with local, state, and federal governments to prevent crime, and when crime happens, OJJDP helps those involved with the consequences in a fair way. It also develops programs to help kids stay away from crime—so they can focus on school, activities, and their future.
