Omphalos

An omphalos is basically a special rock or statue that was believed by ancient Greeks to mark the center of the world. It was considered really important because it was believed that everything else in the world, like the sun and the stars, revolved around it. Imagine if you had a really important toy that you loved and everything else in your room was arranged around it, that's kinda what an omphalos was to the Greeks.
