Online volunteering is like regular volunteering, but you do it over the internet. That means you can help out organizations and causes from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you have an internet connection. Different online volunteering tasks include things like writing, researching, fundraising, managing websites and helping out social media accounts. Organizations that need volunteers will list the tasks they need help with and then people like you can apply to help. You can be a volunteer for a one-time task or an ongoing project, and it’s up to you how much time you want to spend on each one.
