Oorah (Marines)

"Oorah" is a word that the United States Marines say to show their excitement and energy. It's kind of like saying "hooray" or "yay" but it means something special to the Marines.

It actually started a long time ago, when Marines were getting ready for battle. They would yell "Oorah" to show that they were brave and ready to fight. Over time, it became a tradition for Marines to say "Oorah" as a form of motivation and encouragement.

If you hear a Marine say "Oorah," it means they are feeling proud and excited about being a Marine. And if you say it back to them, it shows that you respect and support them.
