ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Open source curriculum

Open source curriculum is when someone makes a course available to people to use and alter for free. It's like a cookbook: anyone can look at the instructions and make the same dish, make changes to the dish, or create their own recipe based on what they learned. Open source curriculum means that teachers, students, parents, and other people can access quality, free learning materials. They can use them as they are, change them to meet their needs, or even add their own resources to make it even better!
