ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

OpenFL

OpenFL is a special tool that helps people make computer programs and games that work on lots of different devices. Imagine you have a toy box with a bunch of different toys inside - one toy might be a ball, another might be a toy car, and so on. OpenFL is like a magic spell that lets you play with all of the toys in the box at the same time, no matter what kind they are. It does this by taking the instructions you give it (like telling it to move the ball around or make the toy car drive in a circle) and translating them into a language that all the toys can understand. This means that you can make a cool game or program on your computer, and then use OpenFL to make sure it will work on a bunch of different devices, like your phone or tablet. Pretty cool, huh?
