Operation London Bridge

Operation London Bridge is a plan for when the United Kingdom's monarch, currently Queen Elizabeth II, dies. It's like a big plan that the government has made to help everyone know what to do when this happens.

So, when the Queen dies, there will be 12 days of ceremonies and mourning. First, the Prime Minister will be told, and then they will tell other important people in the UK and other countries. The UK will then be in a state of mourning and flags will be flown at half-mast.

There will be a lot of things happening, like the Queen's body being taken to Buckingham Palace and Parliament being told about it. The bells at Westminster Abbey will ring and people will place flowers in memory of the Queen.

There will also be a big funeral with lots of important people attending. The Queen's body will be taken to St. James's Palace and then to Westminster Abbey for the funeral. After that, there will be a procession to St. George's Chapel where the Queen will be buried.

Overall, Operation London Bridge is a plan to help everyone know what to do when the Queen dies and to make sure that things happen in a respectful and orderly way.
