Opposition to World War II

Many people opposed World War II because they did not think it was right for countries to fight each other. They didn't understand why countries couldn't come together to solve their problems without resorting to war. Some people also opposed World War II because they didn't believe in the cause they were fighting for. They saw the war as unjust and unnecessary. They were worried that the cost of fighting a war would be too high, both financially and in terms of human lives. People also feared the destruction that war would bring and the effects it would have on the environment and people's way of life.
