Okay kiddo, there was a group of people in Poland in the 1980s who were not happy with the government. They wanted to express themselves but they couldn't do it openly because the government didn't like that. So they decided to use silly symbols and painting funny looking oranges on things instead of protesting. They called their group the Orange Alternative. It was like a secret club where they all wore orange hats and shirts when they met up, and they would march around the city and paint oranges all over the place. They did this to show that people should be allowed to express themselves without being punished. Even though the government didn't like it at first, eventually they realized that these people were just having fun and not causing any harm, so they left them alone. The Orange Alternative became famous all over the world for their creative protests and a lot of people thought they were brave for standing up for what they believed in.
