Orchestrion

An orchestrion is like a big musical machine that plays music all by itself. You don't need to have a person play the music, the machine does it for you! It can play all sorts of different instruments at the same time like drums, trumpets, pianos, and even bells. It looks like a big box with lots of buttons and levers on it. When you press a button or pull a lever, it makes different parts of the machine move, which makes the music play. Sometimes, orchestrions are so big that they take up a whole room! They are really cool to watch and listen to, and they are great for making music if you don't have anyone to play the instruments for you.
