ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ordered exponential

An ordered exponential is like lining up toys by size. You have a bunch of toys that are different sizes, and you want to put them in order from smallest to biggest. You start with the smallest toy and put it in front, then find the next smallest toy and put it behind the first one. You keep doing this until all the toys are in order from smallest to biggest.

In math, an ordered exponential is like this but with numbers instead of toys. You have a bunch of numbers that are different values, and you want to put them in order from smallest to biggest. You start with the smallest number and put it first, then find the next smallest number and put it after the first one. You keep doing this until all the numbers are in order from smallest to biggest.

Ordered exponentials are useful because they help us organize information and make it easier to understand. Just like how lining up toys by size makes it easier to find the toy you want, organizing numbers with an ordered exponential makes it easier to understand and work with them.
