Orders, decorations, and medals of Hong Kong

Orders, decorations, and medals are like shiny stickers that grown-ups can earn for doing really good things. In Hong Kong, the big bosses give out these stickers to people who have done something special to help their country or make it a better place.

Orders are like the biggest, shiniest stickers. They are given to people who have done really, really amazing things for Hong Kong. There are different types of orders, like the Grand Bauhinia Medal, which is the shiniest of them all, and the Gold Bauhinia Star, which is still very shiny but not quite as shiny as the Grand Medal.

Decorations are like stickers that are slightly smaller than orders. They are also given to people who have done something wonderful for Hong Kong, but maybe not quite as big or important as what the people who get orders did. There are two types of decorations - the Silver Bauhinia Star and the Bronze Bauhinia Star.

Medals are like the smallest stickers of all. They are still very special and shiny, but they are usually given to people who have done something good for Hong Kong in a more specific way. For example, there is the Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, which is given to police officers who have worked hard and helped keep Hong Kong safe for a long time.

So, orders, decorations, and medals of Hong Kong are shiny stickers that grown-ups can earn for doing really great things to help their country, and there are different types of stickers for different kinds of achievements.
