Oreithyia

Oreithyia was a lady from ancient times who was turned into a mythology story. She was a really lovely princess from Athens who lived a long, long time ago. She was super pretty and had long hair that flowed like a stream of silk.

One day, when she was taking a walk outside, she met the god of the North Wind. His name was Boreas. He liked her a lot and decided he wanted her to be his wife. But Oreithyia wasn't interested in him and told him she didn't want to marry him.

Boreas didn't really care about her answer. He was a very powerful god and was used to getting whatever he wanted. So he decided to take her, even if she didn't want him.

Boreas kidnapped Oreithyia and took her to his palace in the land of the North. She was really scared, but he tried to make her feel at home. He gave her lots of presents and tried to woo her, hoping she would change her mind and fall in love with him.

But Oreithyia still wasn't interested in him. She missed her family and her home in Athens. She decided she needed to escape from Boreas and go back to her own land.

So one night when Boreas was sleeping, Oreithyia quietly crept away from the palace and started running as fast as she could. But the North Wind was very strong and created a big gust of wind that caught her up and tossed her off a cliff. She fell down into the rocks below and passed away.
