Orthodox Marxism

Orthodox Marxism is a type of Marxism that looks at Karl Marx's writings and beliefs very closely and takes them as the correct understanding of how society works. Orthodox Marxists believe that capitalism (the system we live in where people own businesses and people work for them in exchange for money) creates a lot of unequal power and wealth between different classes of people. They think that capitalism leads to misery for the poor and oppression from the rich. The ultimate goal of Orthodox Marxism is to create a fairer and more equal society.
