ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Orthoepy

Orthoepy is a big word that talks about how we say words correctly. When we talk, we use words and each of these words has different sounds in them that make them unique. Sometimes, we may not say these sounds correctly, and that is where orthoepy comes in. Orthoepy is all about learning how to say these sounds correctly so that we can speak clearly and be understood by others. It's like practicing saying "potty" instead of "poopy" so that we can tell our mom or dad when we need to use the bathroom. By practicing our orthoepy, we can become better communicators and have an easier time expressing ourselves to others.
