ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Orthogonal array

Orthogonal arrays are special types of tables that help you plan out how you want to do your experiments. Each row in the table represents a possible combination of things you can test - for example, you could use an orthogonal array to set up a science experiment with different amounts of soil, water, and fertilizer. By looking at the orthogonal array, you can see all of the different combinations you can try without having to write out every single one. This makes it easier to plan out bigger experiments and make sure you don't forget any combinations.
