Okay, kiddo, let me tell you a story about Osiris!
Once upon a time, there was a very powerful god in ancient Egypt named Osiris. He was kind and fair to the people and taught them lots of useful things like agriculture and law. Osiris was married to his sister, Isis, who was also a powerful goddess.
One day, Osiris's jealous and evil brother, Set, became angry that Osiris was loved and respected by the people more than him. So, Set came up with a plan to get rid of Osiris.
Set tricked Osiris into getting in a special box, which he then sealed shut and threw into the Nile River. Osiris was drowned in the river, and his body was carried to the ocean.
Poor Isis was very sad when she found out what had happened to her husband. She searched high and low for his body and finally found it in a faraway land. She used her magic powers to bring Osiris back to life just long enough to have a son named Horus.
After that, Osiris had to go to the underworld to become the ruler of the dead. But Egypt's people really missed him, so they made him the god of resurrection and new beginnings. That means, whenever someone dies, they hope that Osiris will help their spirit be reborn in the afterlife so they can live forever.
So, that's the story of Osiris! It teaches us that even though bad things can happen, we can still find ways to keep going and make something good out of it.
