Oslo Principles on Global Climate Change Obligations

Hey kiddo! Do you know what climate change is? It's when the weather gets really weird, like super hot summers or really cold winters, and it's causing problems for animals and plants. It's because people are using too much energy and burning things like coal and oil that make the air dirty.

The Oslo Principles are a set of rules that people made up to try and fix the problem of climate change. They're called "Oslo" because they were written in a city called Oslo, in Norway.

Basically, the Oslo Principles say that every country in the world has to work together to stop climate change. They say that some countries, like the ones that use a lot of energy and make a lot of pollution, have more of a responsibility to fix the problem. They also say that rich countries should help poor countries that don't have as much money to stop climate change.

One of the most important things the Oslo Principles say is that every country should have a plan to reduce their pollution and energy use. Also, they say that we need to talk about how to stop climate change and work together to find solutions.

The Oslo Principles are really important because climate change is a big problem that affects all of us. If we don't work together to fix it, things could get a lot worse. So let's do our part to take care of our planet, okay?
