Ovsiankina effect

The Ovsiankina Effect is a phenomenon in physics where a object's temperature rises if it is near a superconductor. Superconductors are materials that can conduct electricity without any resistance at very cold temperatures. The Ovsiankina Effect causes the object to heat up because it is absorbing some of the energy made by the superconductor. When the superconductor is close to a regular object, it will heat up the object because the energy from the superconductor will be transferred to the object.
