Packaging and labeling

Packaging is creating something – like a box or bag – to put an item in to keep it safe. Labeling is writing a name, title, or description on the package to tell what's inside. Packaging and labeling products is important when something is being sent, bought, or even given away. Packaging the items in mailers or boxes keeps things safe until they arrive at their destination. Labeling the packages with a name, address, and contents helps the post office or store know where to deliver the package or what to put on the shelves.
