ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Page 3

Okay kiddo, so you know when you read a book or a magazine and you see the page numbers at the bottom or top of the page? Well, those numbers are there to help you find the page you’re looking for.

Now, imagine you have a very long book, with lots and lots of pages. It would be really helpful if someone could tell you what page you need to turn to instead of you trying to find it on your own, right? That’s where page 3 comes in.

Page 3 is simply the third page of the book. But it’s important because it’s the beginning of the content in most books. On page 3, you’ll usually find the title of the book, the author’s name, and also some information about where and when the book was published.

Think of it like this, when you start a race, the first few seconds of the race are very crucial because it sets the pace for the rest of the race. Similarly, page 3 sets the pace for the rest of the book.

So, when you’re reading a book, always remember to check out page 3, because it has important information that can help you understand the book better.
