ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Paleo-Indians

Paleo-Indians were the first people to live in North and South America a really long time ago, like way before you were born, maybe even before your great-great-grandparents were born! They didn't have houses or towns like we do now, but they still survived by hunting and gathering food from nature. They used tools like spears and stone knives to help them hunt animals like mammoths and gather things like berries and nuts. They also had special ways of making fire which was really important for cooking and staying warm. The Paleo-Indians lived a pretty different life from ours, but they were really smart and resourceful and figured out how to thrive in a wild and sometimes dangerous world.
