Palliser's Triangle

Palliser's Triangle is an area of land in Canada that gets very cold in wintertime. It is shaped like a triangle, and is named after John Palliser, a 19th century explorer who mapped the area. The area is too cold for many things to grow, and so people there depend mainly on the animals that live in the area for food.
