Pam Reynolds case

The Pam Reynolds case is a famous example of near-death experience. In 1991, Pam Reynolds had a brain aneurysm and needed it to be removed. In order to do so, doctors needed to cool her body to 60 degrees, which caused her heart and brain to stop. During the surgery, Pam reported being outside of her body, watching doctors perform the procedure. She could accurately describe what the doctors did, even though she was unconscious during the procedure. This suggests that Pam was having a near-death experience.
