Para-equestrian

Para-equestrian is like regular equestrian, but for people with disabilities.

Just like in regular horse riding, para-equestrians ride horses and perform various activities such as walking, trotting, cantering, and jumping. But the main difference is that para-equestrians have different abilities and challenges, so they may need some extra help or equipment to ride.

For example, some riders may have physical or sensory impairments that require the use of a special saddle, reins, and other adapted equipment. Others may need help from a coach or an assistant to mount or dismount from the horse.

There are also different categories of para-equestrian competitions based on the riders' disabilities, such as physical, visual, or intellectual impairments. So, each rider competes against others with similar abilities.

Overall, para-equestrian is a way for people with disabilities to experience the joy and thrill of horse riding, and to compete at a level that is accessible to them.
