Paraclete

Paraclete means helper or comforter. It is a word used by Christians to mean something like a guardian angel- someone sent to help and protect them. Paraclete comes from the Greek word "parakletos," which means someone who brings comfort or help. It is especially used to refer to the Holy Spirit, God's spirit sent to help believers.
