Pardeh show
So imagine you're going to watch a really cool show with your family and friends. Now imagine that the room where you will watch the show is divided into two parts by a big curtain or wall.
On one side of the curtain, there are people who will perform the show. They will dress up in beautiful costumes, dance, sing, and tell a story.
On the other side of the curtain, there are people like you and your family who will watch and enjoy the show. The people on this side of the curtain will be able to see and hear everything that happens on the other side, but the people performing will not be able to see you.
This curtain or wall is called a "pardeh" in some countries, and when there is a show where this happens, we say it's a "pardeh show".
