ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Parental supervision

Parental supervision means that grown-ups, usually parents, are watching over you to make sure you're safe and making good decisions. Just like when you play outside with your friends, your parents may stay nearby to keep an eye on you. When you use technology or watch TV, your parents may also watch or talk with you about what you're doing and help you avoid bad things or mistakes.

It's important for parents to supervise their kids to make sure they're safe and healthy. This can be done by setting rules, spending time together, and being involved in their lives. Parents can supervise their kids by monitoring their activities, teaching them good values, and being a positive role model. By supervising their kids, parents can help them be safe, responsible, and successful in life.
